The company has provided proven processes and analytics to thousands of clients and manages more than $xx billion in freight transportation management.If you are an experienced FAP leader who would like to contribute to growth and make an impact in a thriving, growing environment, this could be an awesome and exciting opportunity!As the Vice President and General Manager of FAP, you will:Provide leadership; lead, manage, and mentor a team of 6 direct reportsDevelop and execute strategic plans, manage budgets to business plans, daily operations, and build and maintain customer relationshipsOversight of all daily operations of the business, including recruiting, separations, and performance management of resources contributing to the success of the business.Grow sales and retain clients in concert with the commercial team and peersMaintain high levels of service and publish KPIs to key constituentsDelivering site-level KPIs as outlined in the performance planSupport migration, implementation, and client transition of operational product developmentTravel to participate in industry events and conferences and to present to potential or existing clientsMaintain current knowledge of logistics and technology developments and trends; recommend and implement improvements based on this knowledge to provide more efficient service to clientsWhat They Value in You:Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, or FinanceExperience in supply chain management, 3PL environment12+ years of combined experience in sales, pricing, and/or operational roles, account management, and/or business development8+ years of progressive leadership experience in management with innovative and decisive leadership skillsIn-depth background and experience with finance, operations, and technology toolsIn-depth knowledge and experience with prior P&L (Profit and Loss) statement ownershipExpert in currency exchangeFamiliar with technical Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Domo)Ability to lead and influence the team while making an impact and building a growth environmentExperience in hiring, assessing, and supporting team performancesExperience in providing solutions by analyzing and comparing dataWilling and flexible to travel about 25% and/or on an as-needed basisWilling to relocate (if you are currently not in the Portland Metro Area, Oregon)Exceptional communication skills, a strategic leader, innovative, passionate about growth, and building a high-energy team.What They Appreciate in You:Master of Business Administration (MBA)Experience and working knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)Have a special interest in technology and best practices in operations management to make recommendations and executionWhat They Offer:Compensation: Competitive Salary (starting salary: $155k and Bonus)Generous benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Disability Insurance, 401(k), Voluntary BenefitsOpen communication, team-oriented, and mission-driven environmentAbundant resources and no limit for growth opportunity
