At the Jewish Federation of Broward County, you can be part of one of the most effective non-profit organizations in South Florida. Our mission is to mobilize the Jewish Community to provide leadership and financial resources that strengthen and enhance Jewish life in Broward, Israel and worldwide. About the Position:The Assistant Director of Women's Philanthropy is a key professional within the Campaign Department, working in close partnership with the Vice President of Women's Philanthropy to engage, inspire, and steward women across Broward County.This role integrates relationship management, program leadership, and community-building to create meaningful opportunities for women to connect with the Federation, deepen their involvement, and expand their philanthropic engagementWhat You Will Be Doing:Own Women's Philanthropy Leadership Pipeline & Learning ExperiencesIn partnership with the Vice President of Women's Philanthropy, lead the planning, development, and execution of the Women's Philanthropy Leadership Series.Collaborate with the Vice President of Women's Philanthropy to oversee the Women's Philanthropy Learning Series, developing engaging and relevant content that connects women to Jewish identity, community, and philanthropic impact.Ensure all Women's Philanthropy programs are thoughtfully designed and strategically aligned to inspire meaningful connection, personal growth, and continued engagement.Partner with lay leaders to expand program reach, enhance participant experience, and foster shared ownership and leadership within the community.Build Community Around the FederationIn partnership with the Vice President of Women's Philanthropy, design and implement strategies that expand connection to the Federation through both geographic and affinity-based outreach.Identify and engage new participants by activating personal networks, volunteers, and key community touchpoints.Create welcoming, inclusive, and accessible entry points that invite women into meaningful involvement with the Federation.Develop clear engagement pathways that move individuals from initial exposure to deeper participation, leadership roles, and philanthropic commitment.Strengthen a sense of belonging and connection to the Federation across Broward County, fostering a vibrant, engaged community of women.Support Key Women's Philanthropy Initiatives & EventsPartner with the Vice President of Women's Philanthropy to support the planning and execution of key programs and events.Ensure initiatives are strategically leveraged to deepen engagement, strengthen relationships, and inspire philanthropic support.Collaborate across departments to align Women's Philanthropy programs and outreach with the Federation's broader campaign strategy and organizational priorities.Maintain a portfolio of donors.What You Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree required 1+ years of nonprofit, fundraising, or community engagement experience Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills Ability to connect authentically with donors and community members Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience working with volunteers and lay leaders preferred Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Passion for Jewish community, identity, and philanthropy Familiarity with Jewish lifecycle, traditions, and calendar preferredAbility to work evenings and occasional weekends for events or donor meetings.Annual Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 based on experience
