BCT Design Group is seeking a Junior Experiential Graphic Designer to join its energetic, human-centric studio. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer to contribute to the creation of thoughtful, memorable built environments across a wide variety of project types, including retail, entertainment, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Junior Experiential Graphics & Signage Designer at BCT Design Group, you'll support the design and development of way-finding, signage, and branded environments. You'll help translate branding into both 2D and 3D design expressions, assist in producing design documentation across all phases of a project, and contribute creative ideas through sketches, drawings, and digital visualizations. This role also offers opportunities to develop graphics for print and digital brand materials, while gaining hands-on experience collaborating with architects, designers, and project teams.Job Requirements • Possess good interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently or, within a highly collaborative team of architects. • Maintain effective communication with design manager(s) and various cross-functional BCT architectural studios and teams. • Knowledgeable of architectural scales (imperial and metric), sections, plans and elevations. • Knowledgeable in way-finding theory, design and programming principles. • Detailed oriented. • Conceptualize and communicate ideas using hand sketches, scale drawings, computer generated illustrations and photo visualizations. • Possess the ability to two and three-dimensional express and translate branding into built environments. • Demonstrate a high understanding of a range of signage materials, finishes, lighting, and construction techniques for experiential graphic design elements (i.e., sculpture, etc.) signage and graphics. • Develop design documentation and implementation for branded environments, signage and way-finding and experiential graphic elements across all project phases that may include Discovery, Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Bidding and Negotiation and Construction Administration. • Clearly communicate design intent, progress, and way-finding needs to the client, design team, fabricator, installers, consultants and other key stakeholders. • Develop graphics for various print campaigns, including brand marks, style guides, email marketing, social media, and advertisements.Experience:3-5 years preferred; Bachelor's or Associate degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Graphic Design, Illustration, or related fieldPrograms:Adobe Creative Cloud; familiarity with Revit, Enscape, Rhino, or SketchUp a plusCandidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
