Commercial Loan Closing Specialist (Contract)Location: Chandler, AZ - 2800 S Price RdSchedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)Duration: 6-Month ContractOverviewWe are seeking a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist to support day-to-day operations within Commercial Lending during a major system conversion initiative from AFS to LoanIQ. This role will focus on commercial loan booking, funding activities, and supporting operational efficiencies as teams transition into the LoanIQ platform.ResponsibilitiesBook and fund commercial loans using LoanIQ (LIQ)Review and interpret commercial loan credit agreements and closing documentationSupport commercial loan closing operations and funding activitiesProcess internal money movement transactions and post funds within internal systemsRespond to requests from lines of business related to loan funding and servicing activitiesAssist in reducing the learning curve for LoanIQ adoption among operations staffIdentify opportunities for process improvements within Commercial Loan Closing operationsResearch and resolve low to moderately complex loan closing issues and discrepanciesEnsure compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirementsRequired Qualifications2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experienceStrong experience with LoanIQ (LIQ) requiredCommercial loan booking and funding operations expertiseStrong understanding of commercial loan agreements and credit documentationAbility to work independently in a fast-paced operational environmentStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with AFS platformPrevious experience supporting commercial lending operations within a large financial institution
