To learn more, visit or follow @newmark.We are seeking an experienced servicing leader to manage day-to-day and strategic oversight of our Freddie Mac multifamily portfolio. This role ensures full compliance with the Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer Guide, drives superior borrower service, and proactively manages complex loans across a growing portfolio. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Freddie Mac servicing expertise, strong process discipline, and a track record of building high-performing teams. The position is located in Lower Gwynedd, PA.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain end-to-end compliance with the Freddie Mac Multifamily Seller/Servicer Guide and related servicing standards, policies, and timelines; establish and maintain internal SOPs and controls.Monitor, administer, or refer borrower requests to the appropriate Servicing functional business unit or outside party upon review of the applicable loan documents and service agreementsPartner with Asset Management, Originations, Credit, Legal, and Accounting to align servicing strategies with portfolio objectives; present portfolio performance to leadership.Read and interpret loan documents when presented with questions and issues related to their loan portfolio to fulfill client requestFacilitate payoff requests between borrower and payoff teamMonitor payment delinquencies for loans in assigned portfolio. Coordinate collection inquiries to determine nature of defaultResearch and resolve customer inquiries and promote Borrower Insight when appropriate for borrower self-serviceInteraction and communication with other departments regarding borrower inquiries to ensure accuracy in all transaction requirements including billing, reporting, remitting and system set upRe-price interest rate caps escrow account and set monthly constants with an escalated awareness to market conditions; monitor rate fluctuations on ARM billing and for rate cap purposes. Coordinate interest rate cap renewals with Borrower and investor counsel.Monitor and review loan specific trigger/tickler events to ensure appropriate action is taken to meet required deadlinesMonitor loan maturities in conjunction with the payoff team and discuss with borrower their plans for upcoming maturityMonitor portfolio specific reports as required to process any open issues as requiredWork with all applicable functional business units to ensure compliance with loan document requirements and borrower requests on all servicing systemsReview written analysis of lease documents and enforce approval conditions with borrowersInitial contact with borrowers for disaster reporting in the event of natural disasters to assess potential damage.Train new hires, maintaining policies and procedures, and assist with audits.Core Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey loan statusAbility to problem solve and communicate with others at all levels - internally and externallyMust display a high degree of initiative, task ownership and attention to detailMust be willing and able to research and resolve matters as new issues ariseAbility to work productively and multitask.Interpret and utilize policies and procedures, investor guides and loan documentsPossess excellent collaboration skillsAbility to organize and prioritize projects, complete multiple tasks on schedule, and function as a committed team playerWork productively in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environmentQualificationsBA/BS degree in finance, accounting, real estate or other business-related field preferred7+ years of multifamily loan servicing and/or asset management experience, with direct Freddie Mac portfolio responsibility strongly preferred.In-depth knowledge of the Freddie Mac Multifamily Seller/Servicer Guide and servicing standards, including investor reporting, escrow administration, consent processes, and surveillance.Demonstrated leadership experience building teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.Strong working knowledge of loan servicing systems and proficiency with MS Office Word and ExcelExceptional organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills; able to meet strict reporting timelines with high accuracy.Working Conditions: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.NoteThe statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.Newmark is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
