If this is a mission that excites you, please keep reading!The Director of Third Party Manufacturing will lead 's global network of external print and framing partners responsible for producing our framed art prints and custom wall décor. This leader will own partner strategy, performance, and quality; ensuring every product that ships meets 's standards for craftsmanship, consistency, and customer delight.This role blends strategic sourcing, operational excellence, and hands on vendor management. It requires a leader who is equally comfortable evaluating new manufacturing partners, negotiating service levels, and walking a production floor to diagnose quality issues.General Responsibilities:Partner Strategy & Sourcing•Identify, evaluate, and onboard new third party manufacturing and print partners to support growth, capacity, and geographic expansion.•Conduct due diligence on capabilities, equipment, quality processes, and financial stability.•Develop a long term partner roadmap aligned with 's product strategy and customer experience goals.Service Level Agreements & Performance Management•Define clear, measurable SLAs covering quality, turnaround time, fulfillment accuracy, packaging standards, and communication expectations.•Negotiate contracts and pricing structures that balance cost, quality, and scalability.•Establish performance dashboards and conduct regular business reviews with partners.Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement•Build and maintain a robust quality control framework across all partner sites.•Implement standardized inspection protocols, defect tracking, and corrective action processes.•Collaborate with partners to drive continuous improvement initiatives in print quality, framing craftsmanship, packaging, and shipping reliability.Operational Oversight & Relationship Management•Serve as the primary point of contact for all third party manufacturing partners.•Troubleshoot production issues, capacity constraints, and quality deviations in real time.•Work cross functionally with Supply Chain, Product, Customer Service, and Technology teams to ensure seamless order flow and customer satisfaction.•Maintain strong, trust based relationships with partner leadership and on site teams.Skills and Abilities:•Proven track record managing third party manufacturing or fulfillment partners.•Strong understanding of quality control systems, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.•Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.•Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth ecommerce environment.•Willingness to travel extensively.Education/Experience:•10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, print production, supply chain, or vendor management.Physical Requirements:This role requires navigating various warehouse and manufacturing floors, repetitive use of computer equipment such as keyboard and mouse, and frequent handling of various art pieces which can at time be large or awkward. is an equal opportunity employer.
