Known for innovation and excellence, the company has achieved consistent double-digit growth and remains a leading trendsetter in the Nashville catering industry.Job Title: Bar/Beverage Services ManagerLocationG CateringDepartment[Hospitality/Operations]Reports to[General Manager/Owner]Salary[Salary Range/Hourly]Job Summary:The Bar/Beverage Services Manager will oversee all operations of Alcohol and N/A service, ensuring a high standard of service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role includes managing the bar staff, curating the drink menu, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a smooth, profitable operation. The Bar/Bev Services Manager works closely with management to create exceptional experiences, maintain a positive environment for both guests and employees, and ensure compliance with safety and legal regulations.Roles and Responsibilities:Bar Operations Management:Oversee daily bar department operations, ensuring efficient service and an enjoyable guest experience.Maintain consistent inventory management, ordering, and stocking of bar supplies, and develop relationships with vendors.Ensure that the bar products are fully stocked, well-maintained, and clean at all times.Periodically update the drink menu, adapting trends & guest preferences.Set and maintain high standards for beverage quality and Bar presentation.Staff Management & Development:Lead, train, and motivate a team of Bar Logistics as well as bartenders, barbacks, and beverage attendants.Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and recommend professional development opportunities for internal staff.Implement training programs for all bar staff to maintain high service standards and product knowledge.Schedule staff based on business demands, ensuring adequate coverage while managing labor costs.Financial Management:Work with management to create and monitor budgets and forecasts for the bar operation.Maximize profitability by ensuring high efficiency in inventory control, minimizing waste, and controlling costs.Analyze sales data and trends to adjust pricing, promotions, and service offerings as needed.Guest Experience & Marketing:Ensure excellent customer service by interacting with guests and resolving complaints, ensuring that their experience is outstanding.Collaborate with marketing and events teams to develop special promotions, themed cocktails/services, or events to attract and retain guests.Compliance & Safety:Ensure the bar is compliant with all local, state, and federal alcohol laws and regulations.Promote and enforce a safe environment by managing the responsible service of alcohol, monitoring guest behavior, and handling intoxicated customers appropriately.Conduct regular health and safety checks and maintain all necessary certifications.Expectations:Maintain an outstanding level of customer service and attention to detail.Be an effective communicator and team leader.Demonstrate a strong understanding of the bar industry laws and repercussions, from drink preparation to business operations.
