Senior Clinical Information Systems AnalystPay Range: $55-$59/hr. We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Information Systems Analyst to support ambulatory clinical applications within a healthcare IT environment. This role plays a key part in application support, system implementation, workflow optimization, and ongoing maintenance of clinical systems.The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on healthcare application experience and the ability to translate complex clinical workflows into scalable technical solutions. This role includes both operational support and project-based responsibilities such as system upgrades, testing, and collaboration with clinical and technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support for clinical applications, including incident resolution and service requestsLead and support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement initiativesAnalyze clinical workflows and translate business requirements into system design and technical solutionsDevelop, execute, and document test plans for system changes, enhancements, and upgradesTroubleshoot application issues and interface/integration problems (inbound and outbound)Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and vendors to ensure system performance and usabilityCreate and maintain system documentation, user guides, and SOPsSupport end-user training and adoption of system enhancementsIdentify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities; recommend and implement solutionsParticipate in project activities including task coordination and deliverable reviewEnsure systems meet operational, regulatory, and infrastructure requirementsParticipate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 operationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field(Or 4+ years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree)5+ years of healthcare IT experience, including system support, implementation, and testingExperience supporting clinical applications such as Revenue Cycle systems and PowerChartStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to independently resolve complex issuesExperience supporting clinical workflows in healthcare environmentsHands-on experience creating and executing test plans and validating system functionalityStrong documentation skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business usersExperience troubleshooting system interfaces and integrationsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to support on-call rotations and flexible schedulesPreferred QualificationsExperience with ambulatory clinical systemsPrior healthcare IT consulting experienceExposure to workflow optimization and system standardization initiativesAdditional RequirementsAbility to travel between sites as neededStrong stakeholder communication and professionalismAbility to independently manage issues through full resolution
