Our team fosters a supportive and professional environment designed to inspire both patients and staff alike.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site role for a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Licensed Massage Therapist) based in New York, NY; full-time/part-time. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with or at risk of lymphedema and related conditions and managing their caseload. Day-to-day tasks include implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring compliance to plan of care including appointment frequency, performing manual therapy, applying compression therapy, guiding patients through therapeutic exercise programs, and providing education for long-term management as well as ordering of DME and expert product recommendations. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including administrative and billing staff, and maintaining accurate records of patient progress are also key responsibilities.QualificationsProfessional qualifications as an Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), or Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skillsExperience and understanding of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation techniquesCommitment to delivering compassionate and effective patient careCertification in lymphedema therapy and experience with related therapeutic practicesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience working in a clinical or therapeutic settingExperience working within a multidisciplinary team is a plus
