Infrastructure Delivery Lead

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced  Infrastructure Delivery Lead to drive the implementation and delivery of enterprise infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on corporate infrastructure capabilities including identity, networking, endpoints, collaboration, security, and monitoring.The ideal candidate will bring  strong Microsoft Azure expertise working knowledge of AWS, and proven experience leading complex infrastructure implementations"”particularly in  NewCo carve-outs and enterprise environments. This individual will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Implementation & DeliveryLead design and implementation of infrastructure solutions, primarily in  Microsoft Azure with exposure to  AWSDeliver end-to-end infrastructure components including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security. Drive  NewCo carve-out initiatives, including separation planning, TSA management, Day 1 readiness, and cutover execution. Oversee  data center and office network setups (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, ExpressRoute). Implement core services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, PKI, and identity integrations. Lead  M365 and Entra ID implementations, including tenant-to-tenant migrations (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive). Establish governance including:Management groups and subscriptionsIdentity and access managementNetwork architecture (Hub-Spoke / VNet)Security policies and controlsMonitoring and logging frameworksCollaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure successful deployments. Serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and clients. Technical LeadershipProvide hands-on leadership during infrastructure deployments and migrations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Guide engineering teams on best practices for cloud infrastructure and operational excellence.  Service Management & Operational ReadinessEnsure solutions are designed for operational stability and supportability. Lead transition from project delivery to operations (BAU). Drive Day 1/Day 2 stabilization (hypercare), including monitoring, runbooks, and support models. Align with IT service management processes (incident, change, continuity). Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery outcomes. Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of IT experience with leadership in infrastructure delivery. Strong hands-on experience with  Microsoft Azure (required). Working knowledge of  AWS cloud environments (required). Proven experience in  NewCo carve-outs, M&A separations, or enterprise migrationsExpertise in:Networking (routing, switching, VPN, WAN/SD-WAN, Wi-Fi)Identity & access managementCloud and hybrid infrastructureExperience delivering  data center and office network buildsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and complex projects. Preferred QualificationsITIL or Service Management certification. AWS certification (Associate level or higher). Experience in managed services or enterprise-scale infrastructure environments. Background in M&A integrations, TSA exit planning, or large-scale carve-outs. Additional Notes Azure expertise is mandatory, with working knowledge of AWS required. Candidates located near  Dallas, TX (onsite/hybrid) will be prioritized.
