PRECISE BEHAVIORAL IS HIRING: Medical Director - Psychiatrist (Women's Health)Precise Behavioral (Precise) was established to revolutionize the behavioral healthcare ecosystem for patients, providers, and health plans. Precise is a physician-owned and led organization that enables a mix of digital, telehealth, in-person, and community resources for improved patient outcomes.We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director - Psychiatrist with experience in reproductive psychiatry to join our team and provide exceptional mental health care to patients.Scope of Role: This position provides a combination of clinical and administrative telepsychiatry services for a hospital in California, including evaluation of mental health patients referred from OB/Obstetrics with a focus on women's health.Skills:Strong diagnostic evaluation skills to assess mental health conditions accurateEnsure psychiatric consultations meet clinical standards and best practices for all provider types (MDs, NPs, LCSWs)Provide guidance on complex cases and clinical decision-makingMonitor/improve workflows to ensure timely and appropriate patient careConduct regular chart reviews to assess documentation quality, diagnostic accuracy, and treatment appropriatenessIdentify trends or gaps in care and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission)Participate in monthly and/or quarterly calls with client and providersReview performance metrics, discuss clinical challenges, and share best practicesProvide updates on protocols, policies, and program goalsCollaborate closely with the program administrator to align clinical operations with business goalsProvide clinical input on staffing, training, and technology needsParticipate in hospital committee meetings as requestedInvestigate clinical complaints or adverse events and collaborate with compliance teams as neededImplement risk mitigation strategies and provider educationConduct patient evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plansRequirements:MD/DO Medical degree with specialization in PsychiatryTrained in reproductive psychiatryBoard certification in PsychiatryValid California state medical license to practice as a psychiatristActive CA DEAThis position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals seeking mental health care.Precise Behavioral, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
