This role is responsible for managing Site Managers, ensuring organizational standards are maintained across the region, and filling in as the on-site leader when a Site Manager is absent. The Director of Operations bridges the gap between the Executive Team and site-level operations to ensure consistent, exceptional member experiences and operational efficiency.Education and ExperienceExperience:Minimum of 2 years in a multi-site or senior operations leadership role. Must have at least 6 months of experience working with neurodivergent or disabled children.Managerial Background:Proven track record in high-level administrative duties and managing other managers for at least 1 year.Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is preferred and increases starting pay. Minimum requirement is a high school diploma.Certification:Must complete Floortime 101 upon beginning the role.Essential FunctionsMulti-Site LeadershipSupervise, coach, and mentor Site Managers across all locations to ensure daily activities align with SPL philosophy.Lead weekly leadership lab manager meetings and ensure operational updates are effectively communicated to all sites.Conduct performance reviews semi-annually for Site Managers including feedback on leadership performance.Work with the owner to create a handbook for managers on how to run the operation of the location.Coordinate with site managers to streamline all staff meetings & communications.Operational ExcellenceMaintain exceptional service standards and ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment across all sites.Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex member concerns or feedback related to systems or logistics.Update monthly member dashboard to analyze conversion rates for first-time visits and birthday parties, coaching managers to meet the 50% target and communicate with owner.Foster a collaborative, positive team culture across the entire organization.Facility OversightEnsure all facilities meet standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.Coordinate with the Program Director on quarterly physical space updates and equipment rotation.Monitor facility inspections and address escalated maintenance issues with landlords or property management.Administrative OversightOversee regional inventory management and vendor relationships for service needs.Oversee regional center and self-determination program billing and renewals.Step in as the Acting Site Manager during manager vacations, illnesses, or vacancies to ensure seamless operations.Step in as needed for new location set-ups.Directly manage the hiring and onboarding process for Site Managers and oversee location-level hiring to meet company needs.Standardize training for new staff on company culture, systems, and safety protocols across the region.Audit and approve staff schedules for all locations to ensure coverage and labor efficiency, including time sheets and time off requests.
