With over 40 years of excellence and recognition as one of the nation's top senior living operators, we are committed to a people-first culture built on compassion, collaboration, and meaningful connections.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & LeadershipPartner with the General Manager to support daily operations across assisted living and independent living servicesProvide direct leadership oversight within assisted living operations, ensuring care coordination, service quality, staffing effectiveness, and regulatory complianceSupport independent living programming, hospitality operations, and resident engagement initiativesServe as acting General Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and operational stabilityCollaborate with department leaders to achieve occupancy, satisfaction, and financial performance goalsResident & Family ExperienceEnsure residents receive exceptional care, services, and hospitality-focused experiencesServe as a visible leader within the community, actively engaging with residents and familiesAddress residents and family concerns promptly, professionally, and with empathySupport quality-of-life initiatives, events, and programs tailored to both assisted and independent living residentsFinancial & Administrative SupportAssist with budgeting, expense management, and revenue optimizationSupport census growth, resident retention, and move-in coordination in partnership with sales and operations teamsEnsure accurate documentation, reporting, and adherence to Grace Management policies and proceduresTeam Member Leadership & DevelopmentAssist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management of team membersProvide ongoing coaching and operational support to assisted living leadership and frontline teamsPromote engagement, accountability, and professional development across departmentsSupport staffing plans and scheduling to meet operational and care requirementsCompliance & Risk ManagementMaintain compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations governing assisted living operationsSupport survey readiness, audits, inspections, and corrective action planningPromote safety, infection control, risk mitigation, and quality assurance practicesEnsure a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming community environmentQualificationsMinimum of 2-4 years of assisted living operations experience, including regulatory compliance and team oversight requiredDemonstrated understanding of resident care coordination, staffing models, and operational workflows within assisted livingIndependent Living operational or leadership experience preferred, including hospitality-focused service deliveryExperience working within the downtown Chicago senior living or hospitality market preferredBachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experienceKnowledge of Illinois senior living regulations requiredExperience supporting census growth, resident retention, and community engagement initiativesStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilitiesProven ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, resident-centered environmentWhy Join Grace Management?Grace Management is committed to creating vibrant communities where residents thrive and team members grow.
