Material Coordinator IIHayward, CASchedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Duration: 3.5-month contract (potential to extend/convert)Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hour (W2) We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Materials Specialist to support warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for one of our top bio-tech clients. Key ResponsibilitiesTransfer finished goods inventory from manufacturing and receiving areas to warehouse locations for order fulfillmentMonitor and segregate finished goods inventory placed on hold on a daily basisFacilitate transfer requests to and from offsite storage by generating ERP reportsPerform cycle counts, reconcile inventory variances, and submit for completionInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies prompted by customer service inquiries and system reportsConduct random location audits to ensure inventory accuracy and proper maintenanceTrack and manage inventory in temporary transit locations to ensure accurate transfersGenerate reports and support special projects as assigned; provide performance reporting as neededMaintain a working understanding of company products, parts, and related technologiesBuild and maintain effective working relationships across departmentsCollaborate with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Customer Service, Finance, and external vendors to resolve inventory issuesSupport picking, packing, and shipping activities using scanners and manual methodsProcess orders using ERP systems and shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager)Requirements3-5 years of experience in materials, inventory, or logistics (preferred)Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., life sciences, temperature-sensitive products preferred)Familiarity with GMP and ISO standardsStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with excellent math skillsAbility to prepare and deliver presentationsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs to a height of 36 inches
