Frontend Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join the Global Information Security team at a Fortune 50 financial institution. This is a fully on-site role requiring presence five days a week in Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC. This role will support an Agile Scrum/Kanban team, working with early stage, loosely defined user stories. The client is looking for someone who can take high level or weak requirements, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and help shape, refine, and validate solutions.Key Responsibilities• Partner closely with stakeholders to clarify and flush out user stories• Take ambiguous requirements and propose thoughtful options and solutions• Communicate openly and collaboratively, including being comfortable sharing ideas, iterating, and course correcting• Actively participate in daily stand ups, identifying and working through roadblocks• Help drive the team toward UAT by the end of each month• Over time, take ownership of the front end and guide its evolution• Work within an Agile Scrum/Kanban framework to deliver incremental valueREQUIRED SKILLS • 5+ years of front-end development experience, primarily with React (experience with Angular is also acceptable) • Strong experience with UI design and building modern, user-friendly interfaces • Ability to take loosely defined requirements and translate them into:Functional prototypesDesign boards / wireframesCreative, scalable UI solutions• Comfortable collaborating with product, design, and back-end teams to refine requirements and drive solutions forwardNICE TO HAVE SKILLS • Background or exposure to application security• UX design experience or strong design sensibility• Experience consuming and integrating APIs• Familiarity with .NET back-end technologies • Working knowledge of C#• Some experience with databases, including Oracle, and the ability to navigate data as needed• General code literacy beyond front-end frameworks (understanding full-stack concepts is a plus)
