Accounting Specialist

Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Business Control Consultant IV for a one of the largest Utility clients.Job Title: Business Control Consultant IVLocation: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid)Duration: 6-Month Contract | Possible ExtensionKey responsibilities include:• SEC and external financial reporting• Financial consolidations and consolidated reporting• Intercompany eliminations and reconciliations• GAAP research and technical accounting support• Financial statement disclosures and reporting documentation• Process improvements and reporting automation initiatives• Cross-functional collaboration with Accounting, Finance, and leadership teamsRequired qualifications:• CPA or equivalent certification• 7-10+ years of relevant experience• Strong SEC reporting and GAAP experience• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systemsPreferred:• Workiva experience• Utility/energy industry background• FERC / Uniform System of Accounts exposure• Advanced Excel skillsEducation requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldA reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $80 - $85 Hourly on W2.About us:Harvey Nash is a national, full-service talent management firm specializing in technology positions.
