Job Description

The National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA (NTSUSA) seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with an interest in non-profit fundraising to join our collaborative team.The Development and Operations Coordinator is a key member of our small, Boston-based office and is responsible for day-to-day administrative and fundraising operations, including membership and gift processing and CRM database management. The role will have regular contact with Board leadership, members, and the public and will work closely with colleagues toward a shared goal of raising funds to support Scotland's largest conservation charity.This is a part-time, in-office role (approximately 20 - 24 hours per week). Pay is $25-$35/h commensurate with experience.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess and acknowledge memberships and donationsMaintain donor database; prepare reports and lists for fundraising mailings and eventsAttend and take minutes at Executive Committee and Board meetingsDraft bills for payment; maintain staff credit card logsCollaborate with colleagues to plan and execute annual gala and auctionMaintain inventory of printed collateral and office suppliesServe as welcoming and professional first point of contact for inquiries via telephone or emailQualificationsThe successful candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit setting. We are looking for someone who can multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment; well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with good judgement and professionalism; and a strong communicator who can work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with a donor management database system (eg, DonorPerfect) is strongly preferred.To ApplyPlease send a cover letter and resume to Kirstin Bridier, Executive Director, at kbridier@.
