This position is responsible to grow and maintain account relationships with our florists, while generating new business revenue growth. The Field Account Manager role is required to meet and exceed sales and revenue short-term goals. FTD is looking for a dynamic, natural leader who isn't afraid to tackle obstacles big or small. The ideal candidate will have a 50/50 mix of sales and customer support experience. This person will be well seasoned in business development, sales, and customer success.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish and strengthen new and current relationships with FTD Florists, ensuring our florists are set up for the ultimate experience as a vendor to our business.Prospect new members to grow coverage, depth, and network strength by utilizing cold calling, email, and consistent follow up.Expand and upsell sales in overall product participation within existing member accounts.Manage membership retention to reduce churn and maintain current revenue stream.Increase territory revenue growth consistently and strategicallyIncrease order volume fulfillment to increase member satisfaction and participation within the FTD network.Manage territory by utilizing CRM tools, specifically SalesforcePromote FTD technology & E-commerce product sales within the territory.Focus to understand the florist's business operations to offer solutions to leverage profitability and ROI.Maintain a high level of customer communications with FTD members.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESBachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5+ years of B2B outside sales and account management experience; must have experience selling small to mid-sized businesses.Floral experience is highly desiredExpert in sales, business development, and account managementExtremely proficient and comfortable in customer management, negotiation and deal closingSalesforce Experience highly preferredAbility to handle multiple tasks, manage conflict and unique business problems.Understand industry specific trends and landscapes to improve competitiveness.Strong verbal, and written communications and relationship building skills.Excellent presentation skills.Capable in MS Office Suite (Including MS Teams).Ability to work in a dynamic, virtual environment requiring self-motivation and adaptability.Willing and able to travel overnight in assigned territory as necessary.We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
