Senior Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer IVDuration: Until May 9th 2027 (with a possibility of extension)Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid)Key Responsibilities:Support transformation initiatives and business unit optimization projects.Perform industrial engineering studies in field environments.Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and process data.Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.Conduct root cause analysis to address business and operational challenges.Develop actionable recommendations and improvement strategies.Assist with implementation and execution of approved process improvements.Support workforce planning analysis, including resource allocation and productivity assessments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams from project initiation through execution.Required Qualifications & Skills:5-10 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Improvement, or related fields.Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.Experience with data collection, analysis, and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Continuous Improvement, or similar).Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.Experience supporting projects from inception through implementation.Industrial Engineering background preferred. Mechanical Engineering candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.Hands-on experience conducting studies, root cause analysis, operational assessments, and solution implementation.Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
