Since 1993, we have prioritized our drivers and their well-being, fostering a supportive environment where individuals are recognized by name and valued for their contributions.Job OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the company's vehicles and drivers, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations. Fleet managers ensure that vehicles and drivers are being utilized to their fullest potential in a safe and cost-effective manner. Besides operational concerns, fleet managers also have a role in a company's human resources, administrative, and finance-related tasks.DutiesManage and coordinate all aspects of vehicle maintenance including scheduling and managing 2 direct reports in maintenance departmentCollaborate with procurement teams to source parts, and services that meet operational needsImplement process improvements to enhance fleet productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Monitor inventory control related to fleet supplies, parts, and materials handling.Recruiting and interviewing prospective driver candidates through Tenstreet as well as other 3rd party applicationsConducting new hire onboarding and trainingmaintain driver qualification filesoversee daily fleet safety incidents by investigating telematics alerts and apply coaching/training to driversKey Qualifications and SkillsExperience: At least 2 years of previous experience in fleet management or transportation management.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and, in many cases, fleet management software (telematics).
