Recognized as an industry leader and certified as a Great Place to Work, we proudly partner with some of the world's most admired Fortune 500 companies.Day-to-Day Responsibilities / WorkloadLead consolidation of financial results across multiple subsidiaries, including preparation of consolidated financial statementsPerform intercompany eliminations, top-side adjustments, and reconciliation of consolidated balancesPrepare assigned sections of financial statement filings and ensure proper documentation to support SEC reportingAnalyze disclosure data to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements, including review of XBRL taggingPrepare external financial reports and filingsContribute to internal management reporting, including materials presented to the Board of DirectorsEnsure adherence to internal financial reporting policies and proceduresCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and SEC reportingConduct accounting research on financial reporting matters and document findings for position papersAssess and document impacts of new regulatory guidance (e.g., SEC and other governing bodies) on financial reportingLead implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance financial and SEC reporting efficiencyRequired Skills / QualificationsActive CPA or equivalent certificationStrong knowledge of and experience applying U.S. GAAPExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldPreferred Skills / QualificationsExperience using Workiva reporting platformFamiliarity with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Uniform System of AccountsAdvanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
