Job Title: CNC Machinist - Tsugami Swiss TurnJob Location: Coopersville, MI 49404Duration: Full TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist (Tsugami Swiss Turn) to join our manufacturing team.In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC machines"”including CNC lathes and milling machines"”to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards.Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment, including Fanuc controls, contributing to innovative projects across various industries.Responsibilities:Operate CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety complianceSet up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming using softwareWrite, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs utilizing G-code, M-code, and other programming languagesInterpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and specifications to produce precise partsConduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instrumentsPerform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtimeAssist with tooling selection, setup adjustments, and calibration to ensure high-quality outputSupport lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing machining processes and reducing waste through continuous improvement practicesCollaborate with assembly teams to ensure parts meet quality standards before final inspection or assemblyQualifications:Proven experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines with Fanuc or similar controls Specifically: Tsugami Swiss TurnStrong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM software, CAD design tools like SolidWorks or similar platformsAbility to read complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with GD&T principles is essentialMechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculationsProficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)Familiarity with tooling setup, hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processesKnowledge of manufacturing environmentsAbility to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a teamAdditional Information:· Create high-quality components through innovative machining techniques· Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment· Develop expertise while working on cutting-edge projects that make a real impact across multiple industriesWhy Join UsJoin us in creating high-quality components through innovative machining techniques!We value energetic professionals who are eager to contribute their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This role offers the chance to develop your expertise while working on cutting-edge projects that make a real impact across multiple industries.Benefits:403(b)Vision insurance
