Audio Engineer "” The Recording ClubThe Recording Club is seeking an Audio Engineer to support sessions, maintain world-class studio systems, and help deliver a seamless, high-end creative experience for members and clients.This is a flexible role that may be structured as contract or full-time depending on experience, availability, and scope.Responsibilities include:Engineer recording, rehearsal, podcast, livestream, and post-production sessionsMaintain and troubleshoot studio audio systems, DAW templates, routing, headphones, consoles, and member-facing setupsBuild and maintain plug-and-play studio environments where any user can start creating within minutesKeep all rooms impeccable"”clean, organized, cable-managed, and always session-readyDeliver a high-touch, hospitality-driven experience for members and clientsCreate simple, intuitive documentation so systems are easy to use without guidanceResolve technical issues quickly and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurrenceSupport integrated audio, video, and lighting workflows across the facilityAssist with upgrades, installations, inventory, and technical systems developmentCollaborate with staff, contractors, producers, and members to ensure consistently high-quality resultsIdeal candidate:Strong recording engineering skills across Pro Tools, Ableton, and LogicStrong live sound / FOH mixing skills, including monitors, consoles, signal flow, and fast troubleshootingComfortable with signal flow, patching, consoles, interfaces, headphones, microphones, and troubleshootingStrong bias toward action; proactively identifies and solves problemsTakes ownership of studio systems and member experience end-to-endHigh awareness of overall studio operations; steps in wherever neededHighly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressureHospitality-minded with a focus on delivering an exceptional client experienceFamiliarity using AI tools to help build systems, document workflows, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational efficiencyExcited to build systems and improve workflows"”not just run sessionsBonus: music production skills, podcasting, Dolby Atmos, video, lighting, or post-productionCompensation:Contractor: $20/hourFull-time: $45,000-$70,000/year, depending on experience and scopeLocation: Santa Monica, CACompany: The Recording Club by Tiny Room Studios
