This role will be critical in building our logistics infrastructure from the ground up in collaboration with the OLIVE YOUNG logistics team and 3PL operator.What You'll DoCoordinate with the Olive Young SCM Division in Korea and the 3PL operator's management team to support planning discussions for a new U.S. logistics centerEvaluate and audit 3PL logistics operations, including inland transportation and warehouse activities, to ensure compliance with company standards and efficiency targetsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and monitor and report on the quality of logistics processes performed by the 3PL operator.Monitor and analyze logistics expenses and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.Develop and present comprehensive monthly analyses on logistics costs, inventory days, and stock shortages, identifying areas for significant cost-saving opportunities.Negotiate and manage logistics rates and contracts in partnership with 3PL providers to align with business objectivesWork closely with CJ Olive Young USA stakeholders to support internal operational and strategic planning initiatives.Coordinate with the 3PL operator's management team to facilitate smooth communication channels.Monitor logistics performance and provide non-binding recommendations to the 3PL partner's management regarding potential operational enhancements.Provide monthly reporting on logistics KPIs, including costs, inventory turnover, and shortages.Oversee and manage QC inspection protocols for inbound and stored inventory, driving corrective actions for any discrepancies in packaging, labeling, or shipment qualityCollaborate with internal sales, merchandising, and SCM teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of B2B, B2C customer orders.Support EDI-related operational coordination with retail customers and logistics partners when applicable.Analyze and optimize inbound and outbound warehouse flows, providing strategic recommendations to resolve bottlenecks and improve operational progress.Qualifications2-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.Prior experience working with retail clients (shippers) is required.Professional experience in customs clearance and logistics center operations.Experience with U.S.-based retail companies is highly preferred.Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Advanced MS Excel skillsComfortable working in both office and logistics center environments.Bilingual in Korean and EnglishPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fieldAdditional InformationEmployment decisions will be made in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local fair chance hiring laws, including the California Fair Chance Act and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementCJ OLIVE YOUNG USA, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
