Purchasing & Inventory Control CoordinatorDallas, TX | Full-Time | OnsiteAre you a highly organized purchasing and inventory professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing & Inventory Control Coordinator to join our growing team in Dallas, TX.This is a key role within the organization, responsible for managing purchasing activities, maintaining accurate inventory levels across multiple locations, and helping drive operational efficiency and cost savings. If you enjoy working cross-functionally, analyzing data, improving processes, and building strong vendor relationships, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoPurchasing & ProcurementPartner with department managers to identify purchasing needs and support production requirementsSource, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliersNegotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing solutionsCreate and manage purchase orders while overseeing purchasing transactions from start to finishVerify pricing accuracy, track deliveries, and process receiving documentationResolve vendor issues related to pricing discrepancies, quality concerns, or shipment delaysMonitor supplier performance to ensure service, quality, and delivery expectations are metInventory ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records across multiple company locationsUpdate inventory databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems dailyConduct cycle counts, spot checks, and month-end inventory reconciliationsInvestigate inventory variances and process approved inventory adjustmentsMonitor inventory usage and identify opportunities to reduce shortages, overstock, and product lossHelp improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency throughout the organizationReporting & Process ImprovementAnalyze purchasing and inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunitiesRecommend alternative suppliers, new products, or process improvementsCommunicate inventory updates, obsolete products, and market trends to leadershipPrepare purchasing and inventory reports as neededSupport continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing and inventory operationsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and/or inventory controlStrong understanding of inventory management processes and purchasing operationsExperience working with inventory systems, ERP platforms, or database management toolsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong data tracking/reporting abilitiesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication and vendor management skillsHigh attention to detail with strong accuracy and follow-throughAbility to work independently and make sound business decisionsPreferred BackgroundExperience within manufacturing, production, distribution, or industrial environments preferredExperience using ERP or inventory management software is a plusBenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits, including:401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time offReferral programScheduleMonday - Friday8-hour shiftIn-person position located in Dallas, TX
