Position TitleDirector of Data Analytics Location: Scottsdale, AZ (on-site)Term: Full-time/Direct HirePosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Director of Data Analytics to lead enterprise-wide analytics initiatives and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for developing analytics strategies, managing business intelligence functions, overseeing data governance practices, and leading high-performing analytics teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, business acumen, and proven leadership experience in mid-to-large-scale organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the organization's data analytics and business intelligence strategy aligned with business objectives. Lead and mentor cross-functional analytics, reporting, and data engineering teams. Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support executive and operational decision-making. Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements, operational efficiencies, and revenue growth. Oversee data governance, data quality, and compliance standards across analytics initiatives. Manage enterprise analytics platforms, visualization tools, and reporting systems. Translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations for executive leadership. Drive predictive analytics, forecasting, and advanced analytical modeling initiatives. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure and accessibility. Manage analytics project roadmaps, budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation. Ensure scalability and continuous improvement of analytics processes and methodologies. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and business intelligence. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related domain, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Proven track record of managing data initiatives in mid-to-large-scale organizations. Strong experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Advanced knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and analytics methodologies. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership through data-driven insights. Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI-driven reporting solutions. Experience in Agile project management environments. Industry experience relevant to the organization's sector.
