About the CompanyWe are seeking a hands on Finance Controller to own the day to day financial operations of our business. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, execution focused, and comfortable operating in a small to mid sized company environment where accuracy, reliability, and follow through matter.About the RoleThe Controller will be responsible for managing core accounting functions including cash management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and month end close, while working closely with leadership and cross functional teams to ensure the financial foundation of the business is strong, timely, and dependable. While this role is operational and hands on, it also offers meaningful opportunity to grow alongside the business.ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily cash balances and reconcile activity across company accountsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processesMaintain a rolling 13 week cash flow forecastPrepare and submit biweekly payroll and maintain payroll recordsOwn month end close including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare month end financial reporting and supporting analysisSupport margin analysis by product, customer, or channelPrepare required state sales tax filingsProcess recurring monthly payments including rent, commissions, and owner distributionsSupport quarterly royalty calculations and paymentsPartner with internal teams to improve financial processes and documentationProvide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to leadershipBuild annual budgets & cashflow forecastsQualificationsBachelor degree in AccountingThree or more years of relevant accounting or controller experienceExperience supporting payroll, cash management, and financial reportingExperience working in a small to mid sized business preferredRequired SkillsProven experience in a hands on accounting or controller roleStrong attention to detail and comfort managing daily financial processesSolid understanding of month end closeAbility to work independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetComfortable working in a fast paced, growing businessPreferred SkillsThis is a hands-on role.
