Production Supervisor

Our client, a growing manufacturer in Fort Wayne is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams toward continuous improvement.Shift: 2/2/3 Schedule - NIGHTCompensation: 65-75K + 5 % Quarterly BonusKey Responsibilities:Oversee daily production activities and assign work to team members (9 total)Develop and manage employee schedules to meet operational demandsLead shift meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with other departmentsTrain and mentor operators to ensure consistent performance and skill developmentEnsure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe working environmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiencyMonitor production metrics including quality, output, waste, and cost controlMaintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to production and operationsPartner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and preventive maintenanceConduct inspections to ensure machinery performance and product qualitySupport inventory control efforts to optimize stock levels and reduce wasteAssist with budgeting, planning, and operational reportingQualifications:High school diploma or GED required5+ years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing setting requiredStrong leadership, communication, and team-building skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyBasic computer skills and willingness to learn new systemsFlexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysComfortable working in a manufacturing environment (including varying temperatures)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally more with assistance)Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementWhat Our Client is Looking For:A proactive leader with a "can-do" attitudeSomeone who values safety, quality, and teamworkStrong attention to detail and accountability
