Job OverviewMarketech International Corporation USA is seeking a skilled Advanced Process Chemical SCADA Engineer for a TSMC project to support the design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of SCADA / DCS systems for chemical, industrial, and semiconductor-related facility operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining control system architecture, HMI displays, system tags, control logic, alarms, historian data, and communication interfaces that support critical process systems.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SCADA / DCS platforms, preferably Emerson DeltaV, strong PLC integration knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings to ensure system configurations align with process flow, safety requirements, and operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, build, and maintain SCADA / DCS system architecture, including servers, controllers, EIOC, and related system componentsDesign and develop HMI / operator graphic displays to support clear process visibility and operator responseCreate, configure, and manage system tags in accordance with P&ID drawings, project standards, and naming conventionsConfigure industrial communication protocols, including PLC, Modbus, OPC, and related integration interfacesDevelop control logic using Emerson DeltaV function blocks and related control strategiesImplement sequence control, interlocks, timers, permissives, and conditional logic to support safe and reliable system operationDesign integrator-based calculations, conditional logic, and process control functions based on operational requirementsConfigure alarm strategies, including HI, HI-HI, A_ALM, B_ALM, and related alarm parametersImplement alarm hysteresis, alarm suppression logic, and OPSUP logic to reduce nuisance alarms and improve operator responseProvide on-site maintenance support, troubleshooting assistance, and emergency response for control system issuesConfigure historian / INSQL data points, records, trends, and reporting structuresDevelop trend displays, dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools to support operations and engineering teamsIntegrate SCADA systems with databases, historian platforms, and external data systems as neededQualificationsHands-on experience with SCADA / DCS systems; Emerson DeltaV experience strongly preferredExperience configuring servers, controllers, EIOC, HMI graphics, tags, alarms, and control logicPLC integration experience, including Ladder Logic and Function Block programming conceptsKnowledge of industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, OPC, and PLC communication interfacesStrong control logic design experience, including sequences, interlocks, timers, permissives, and conditional logicAbility to read, interpret, and apply P&ID drawings, loop drawings, and related engineering documentationExperience supporting loop checks, system testing, commissioning, and startup activitiesExperience with alarm configuration, alarm rationalization, alarm suppression, and nuisance alarm troubleshootingFamiliarity with historian systems, INSQL, trend displays, dashboards, and operational reporting toolsStrong troubleshooting skills related to communication issues, system performance, alarms, and logic errorsAbility to collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, commissioning, and project teamsStrong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and ability to work in high-specification industrial environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting chemical, semiconductor, manufacturing, industrial, or high-purity facility systemsEmerson DeltaV configuration and commissioning experienceExperience working with chemical delivery systems, process utilities, UPW, wastewater, gas, exhaust, or facility control systemsExperience supporting field commissioning, startup, SAT/FAT, loop checks, and system validationKnowledge of control system cybersecurity, access control, change management, and system documentation standardsExperience with database integration, historian reporting, and dashboard developmentWork EnvironmentThis position may require work in industrial, construction, semiconductor, chemical, and facility environments. The role may involve both office-based engineering work and field support, including troubleshooting, commissioning, system validation, and on-site maintenance activities.
