All of this takes place within a values-driven culture that emphasizes integrity, collaboration, and long-term relationships.What We Are Looking ForJuris Doctor (JD) required, with active bar membership or ability to obtain within one yearAt least 3 years of work experience - paralegal or insurance experience is a plusStrong understanding of contracts, governance practices, and insurance policiesAbility to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKey ResponsibilitiesLegal Document Preparation & ManagementDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, including NDAs and vendor agreements, with a focus on risk mitigationCreate and terminate legal entities and ensure timely filing of annual reports and registrationsOrganize and maintain corporate governance records, including board minutes and legal filingsSupport mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and real estate transactionsImprove contract management processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiencyLitigation SupportCoordinate with outside counsel on active casesPrepare and file legal documents such as exhibits, briefs, and motionsSchedule and coordinate interviews, depositions, and meetings with stakeholdersManage evidence and documentation related to litigation and claimsOversee responses to subpoenas, garnishments, and discovery requestsMonitor and manage legal expenses to ensure budget alignmentInsurance & Risk ManagementCollaborate with insurance brokers on coverage lines and policy renewalsManage insurance claims and coordinate recovery effortsProcess and formalize Certificates of Insurance and departmental workflowsResolve minor general liability consumer complaints with internal teamsHandle annual business license and permit renewalsTrack and reconcile insurance-related expensesTeam CollaborationParticipate in weekly department meetings and ad hoc discussionsContribute to organizational initiatives, projects, and cross-functional teamsPartner with finance, HR, operations, and IT on legal and compliance needsIf you are ready to bring your skills into a role where business partnership and practical solutions make a real difference every day, we invite you to apply and join Clemens Food Group.Application Note:Clemens Food Group is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search or staffing firms.
