Accountant

These tasks include, but are not limited to:Review client contracts, non-disclosure agreements and advise on areas that need to be addressed.Risk managementProcess job request forms and create projects in the accounting systemCreate project resource plans, as neededEnter all cash receipts and cash transfersCreate all invoices and send to clientsWork with project managers to issue client invoices and manage account receivable collectionsSubmit monthly and quarterly sales and use tax filings by stateReconcile general ledgerProcess corporate credit card statementsMaintain fixed assets sub-ledger and record depreciation each monthCompile AP checks weekly and mailResponsible for bank depositsWork with auditors and prepare required audit schedulesBackup to purchasing departmentProcess monthly payrollRequirements/Basic Qualifications:BS (with 5-7 years' experience) in Accounting, Finance or related field. Experience, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, purchasing, fixed assets, payroll, and sales and use tax filingAbility to work under tight deadlinesDetail oriented and ability to multi-taskMicrosoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelERP system(s)-Deltek VisionVantage Point
