Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator / Field Cost AnalystDuration: 12+ Months ContractLocation: Yanceyville, NC - Hybrid/Field BasedWork Location: 1740 N Carolina Highway 86 N, Yanceyville, NC 27379Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Controls Coordinator / Field Cost Analyst to support capital construction and infrastructure projects within a fast-paced utility and energy environment. This role will support the Project Controls and Project Management teams by providing cost analysis, schedule tracking, forecasting, earned value reporting, and construction progress support throughout the project lifecycle.The ideal candidate will have experience supporting project controls activities within utility, energy, EPC, construction, or industrial environments, with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience working with Excel and Primavera P6 schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily project controls and field cost analysis activities for active construction projectsTrack incurred project costs, analyze variances, and maintain accurate forecasting dataMaintain and update project cost information within EcoSys or similar cost management systemsValidate schedule progress, percent complete, and actual/forecast start and finish dates with contractors and project teamsSupport project forecasting activities including Estimate at Completion (EAC) and cost trending analysisAssist with earned value management (EVM) reporting and construction performance trackingSupport project change management processes and maintain related documentationPrepare and distribute weekly construction and project controls reportsCoordinate with project managers, contractors, schedulers, and project controls teams to ensure accurate cost and schedule reportingAssist with schedule analysis, project progress tracking, and reporting activities using Primavera P6Ensure project documentation, forecasting, and reporting activities are completed accurately and on timeRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field2-5 years of experience supporting project controls, cost analysis, scheduling, or construction/project coordination activitiesStrong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skillsFamiliarity with Primavera P6 scheduling softwareUnderstanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and forecasting methodologiesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and coordination abilities within cross-functional project environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting utility, energy, EPC, pipeline, industrial, or construction projectsExperience with EcoSys or other project cost management toolsKnowledge of project forecasting, cost tracking, and schedule management processesExperience working in field construction or capital project environmentsAdditional InformationOpportunity to work on large-scale utility and infrastructure projectsCollaborative team environment with long-term project opportunitiesExposure to project controls, forecasting, scheduling, and construction reporting processes within complex capital projects
