Property Accountant

Title: Property Accountant Overview:Hixen Search Group has been exclusively engaged by one of its longtime downtown clients in a search for a strong Property Accountant. The company, well-known real estate company, is looking to add to their team and targeting someone with real estate accounting experience.This person will take ownership of ~10 properties and manage the month-end close and financial statement preparation for those properties. This role interacts closely with Operations and works with Leadership on a routine basis. 40 hrs/week, year-round. Midsize team allows exposure to construction/development accounting if you'd like to expand your skillset. Responsibilities: Ownership of accounting cycle for your ~10 propertiesProperties are blend of residential, corporate, mixed-use, & commercialReconciliations, adjusting journal entries, cash-flow forecasting, financial statement prep/analysis, AP/AR review, etc.Interacting with Operations and Leadership regularlyWhy This Opportunity: Great team, family-oriented culture - laid back and team-focused40 hours/week, all year.
