This position promises opportunities for advancement within our firm for individuals who consistently demonstrate outstanding performance. While the primary responsibility revolves around efficiently managing a significant volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, the ideal candidate will adeptly oversee a variety of ongoing projects. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for proficiently managing budgeting and forecasting annual expenses, with a keen eye on long-term planning, monitoring account reserves, and working closely with our property management team to ensure compliance with local and state regulations. We're seeking someone ready to tackle challenges head-on with a proactive mindset and dedication to contributing to the overall success of the team.  Key Responsibilities Include: Process approximately 1,000 invoices per month with efficiency and meticulous accuracy via check or electronic platforms. Reconcile invoices against work orders and approved proposals Timely processing of security deposit returns Manage recurring monthly payables including but not limited to loan payments and resident manager payments. File Annual Business Gross Receipts/Payroll Tax and manage subsequent payments Execute journal entries for QuickBooks/Intuit payroll taxes Handle SF Rent Board Housing Inventory uploads Process time-sensitive payments including but not limited to client income tax returns and property taxes and maintain neat records for tracking purposes. Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual filings in prompt order. Qualities We're Looking For: Exceptional skills in project management, adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently Demonstrated expertise in strategic long-range budgeting and forecasting Proficiency in building complex spreadsheets Growth-oriented mindset with a passion for learning and improvement Dedication to accuracy High energy, friendly team player Strong multitasking abilities Ideal Candidates Will Have: Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills with a solid command of the English language Experience with AppFolio and/or YARDI property management software Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Familiarity with Google Workspace Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Required) Experience: Accounts Payable: 5 years AppFolio and/or YARDI: 2 years (Required)Job Type: Full-time, in-person Work Location: In-office Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance
