Our promise is to approach every project with quality, safety, transparency, and accountability.About the RoleChrista Construction is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on multi-family, wood-frame commercial construction projects. This role is critical in driving quality, safety, and project success from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionLead all on-site construction activitiesEnsure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standardsMaintain daily reports, project documentation, and updated drawingsChair weekly subcontractor meetings and coordinate field effortsSafety & ComplianceEnforce company and OSHA safety standardsMaintain site-specific safety documentation and ensure subcontractor complianceActively model and enforce proper PPE and jobsite protocolsScheduling & CoordinationMaintain 3-week look-ahead schedulesMonitor lead times, material deliveries, and subcontractor workflowAssist in buyout and submittal trackingQuality AssuranceConduct QA/QC checks throughout all phases of the buildManage preconstruction meetings, mock-ups, and closeout inspectionsEnsure all work aligns with codes, plans, and specificationsQualifications6-10 years of experience in wood-frame multi-family commercial constructionStrong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practicesProficient with MS Office, Procore, and construction management softwareStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsOSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, climb, and navigate active construction sitesMust have good vision, hearing, and general physical enduranceOccasional lifting and use of ladders or scaffolding may be requiredAt Christa Construction, we're more than builders we're partners committed to making a positive impact on every project we touch.
