We are looking for a Lead Analytical Chemist to function as a senior expert within the Quality Control organization. This isn't just a bench role - you will be the technical backbone of the QC organization bridging the gap between lab operations, external partners, and regulatory compliance. Position SummaryThe Lead Analytical Chemist will oversee the Quality Control laboratory including performing/supporting analytical testing, executing analytical procedures and protocols, interpreting QC data and providing trend analysis, identifying deviations, and drafting/reviewing/updating documentation.Key Responsibilities· Conduct HPLC analysis, pH testing, density determination, and stability studies.· Perform QC data analysis and trending. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally.· Serve as the primary contact between analytical sciences and external contract labs.· Review analytical data for accuracy, completeness, and GMP compliance.· Draft, review, and update standard operating procedures, test methods, reports, and specifications. · Conduct thorough investigations into OOS results, deviations, and customer complaints. · Ensure laboratory activities comply with regulatory requirements and participate in internal and external quality audits. Qualifications· Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.· Experience: 3+ years of analytical lab or industry experience in testing and following procedures. · Skills: Proficient in analytical chemistry techniques (HPLC, pH, etc.), instrument troubleshooting, analytical data interpretation, and technical writing.
