POSITION DESCRIPTIONOrganization: The Summit Counseling CenterPosition Title: Site Lead for Dunwoody OfficeLocation: Dunwoody, GAReports to: Director of Clinical OperationsSince 1990,The Summit Counseling Center (The Summit)has been a trusted community partner; bringing hope, healing, and restoration to children, teens, adults, couples, and families. The Summit provides professional counseling, psychological services, school-based mental health, and community education services utilizing an integrated approach to care for individuals and families - Body, Mind, Spirit, and Relationships.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSite Lead responsibilities are in addition to regular job responsibilities of the associated therapist job responsibilities.Responsibilities:SITE LEADThis is a comprehensive list of Site Lead responsibilities; however, actual Site Lead responsibilities may vary depending upon the site and its funding, stage of development and Advisory Committee agreements.Serve as a liaison between the Site constituents and Summit leadership. "Site constituents" may include Senior Pastor at a congregationally-based site, Chair of the Advisory Committee, Advisory Committee Members, Congregational (and/or related school) leadership, site-related major donors, and Summit staff who serve at the site (Administrative and Clinical).Establish a monthly meeting with other Summit staff working at identified satellite location to assess needs of the site and staff. Communicate needs to Summit Senior leadership regularly.Spend an agreed-upon number of hours per pay period directly on Site-related leadership work at the Admin pay rate. Total approved hours is subject to change based on site needs through discussion with Supervisor and as approved by the Executive Director or Director of Clinical Services.Document Site-related leadership work in twice monthly reports corresponding to the payroll periods. Reports are due by the 5th and the 20th of each month and should be sent to the Director of Clinical Services and the Accounting Manager.Site-related work shall be in alignment with goals established in coordination with the Director of Clinical Operations, the Director of Operations, and Site Constituents (e.g., Chair of Advisory Committee).Responsible for the overall Clinical production and Community Outreach for the specified location. Provides related reports from Valant and other data sources to Director of Clinical Operations and Director of Operations monthly or as requested from the Leadership Team.Examples of Site-related work include:Help with the recruitment and creation of the Site Advisory CommitteeMeet with Site constituents and their designees to network and market Site services (e.g., advisory council representatives, church partners, etc.)Provide training for Site-related groups (e.g., staff/volunteers, local church partners, etc.)Communicate Site needs to Summit Leadership Team members and coordinate communication with all site constituents.Plan/conduct community-wide trainings and/or workshops to market the Center in conjunction with the Director of Community Outreach.Create Community Outreach content (Articles, Blogs, Letters, social media content) that is specific to the Site as coordinated with the Director of Community Outreach.Review monthly site-based production reports to set targets for growth as well as monitor trends in percentage utilization of CAF.STAFF THERAPIST-Professional Services - providing number of agreed upon clinical hours; maintaining clinical records in accordance with center policies & procedures and professional standards of practice; working with the administrative staff to set and collect appropriate fees; representing the standards and practices of their primary professional fields.-Clinical Staff Participation - work cooperatively with staff colleagues, consultants and referring professionals; participate actively in clinical staff and case consultations; attend administrative staff meetings, staff retreats and other team building activities.-Center Administration and Development - participate in the development of the Center's referral network; initiate and engage in ongoing marketing planning and activities; participate in the Center's program of education, consultation and community relations.-Willingness to develop and cultivate his/her own caseload by representing the Center in the community and relating to referral sourcesADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAny other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING PREFERREDTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and Experience Three years of experience in clinical management roles; or, equivalent skill, knowledge and experience in areas related to this position.Licensed in Georgia at the FULLY-LICENSED level (i.e., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist)Associate-licensed therapists (APC, AMFT, LMSW) will also be considered for this role with appropriate experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Technology/SoftwareStrong understanding and prior experience in computerized accounting systems, controls and spreadsheet useModerate level of experience in Microsoft Excel data manipulation and analysisModerate experience with electronic health records and data management; familiar with HIPAA complianceCommunicationContacts are across the entire geographical, and professional community and in a leadership capacity. Community contact is a critical component of success in developing good will and interest in the mission of the Center.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interface professionally with multi-level department heads internally and externally.Maintain professionalism at all times, both internally and externally.Display discernment in sharing of potentially confidential information.Ability to interpret and prepare clear and concise reports.ManagementExcellent organizational and time management skillsFlexibility with schedule, tasks, and/or dutiesRepresents the mission of The Summit in all actionsJOB CONDITIONS: (SEE EXAMPLES BELOW)The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
