We specialize in delivering world-class Digital Product Engineering, Data Management and Analytics, and Staffing Solutions services to Fortune companies, SMBs, ISVs, and fast-growing startups.About the RoleWe're looking for a Controls Engineer with strong robotics and vision systems experience to support and enhance advanced manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll work hands-on with Fanuc robots, Cognex vision systems, and automation technologies to drive efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement on the production floor.You'll partner closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to design, troubleshoot, and optimize automation systems, helping reduce downtime and improve overall performance.What You'll DoProgram, troubleshoot, and optimize Fanuc robotic systemsDevelop robot paths, configure tooling, and manage I/O and safety setupsConfigure and support Cognex In-Sight / VisionPro systems for inspection and qualityWork with Matrox (MIL / Design Assistant) vision solutionsIntegrate robotics with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI systemsSupport installation, commissioning, and upgrades of automation equipmentTroubleshoot issues related to motion control, robotics, and vision systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and new projectsEnsure compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, IEC, UL)Contribute to development of advanced automation solutions (robotics, laser, AI-driven systems)Preferred QualificationsExperience with Fanuc ROBOGUIDE (robot simulation)Background in manufacturing automation, CNC, or conveyorsHands-on experience with vision-guided robotics systemsExposure to AI, advanced controls, or smart manufacturing technologiesExperience with Python or ROS2 (nice to have)Equal Employment Opportunity StatementIntelliswift celebrates a diverse and inclusive workforce.
