Field Service Engineer -- Industrial Machinery (36053)

An international industrial machinery manufacturer in the Addison, ILarea is seeking a Field Service Engineer who is responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of machinery at customer sites.Responsibilities Include:Travel to customer sites to repair machinery or supervise the repair through subcontractors and/or customers' maintenance peopleOversee project management and perform machinery inspectionsPrepare quotations for service to customersPrepare and present final reports to customersProvide warranty service and supportMaintain customer relationship and promote parts salesRequirements:Prefer at least an Associate's degree in Engineering or related fieldAt least 3 years of related field service experienceAt least 3 years of industrial machine maintenance experienceExperience with hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience with PLC programming and electrical systemsAbility to travel up to 75 percentMust have valid driver's licenseWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
