I'm working with a leading global biopharma company seeking an Associate Director, Social Media Marketing to lead the development of a best-in-class influencer ecosystem supporting a new product launch. This role will sit at the center of consumer marketing, digital, and patient engagement, driving how the brand shows up through creators, patient voices, and social communities to build awareness, trust, and engagement.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own KPI-driven influencer and social media strategies aligned to brand objectives and patient insightsBuild and manage relationships with influencers, creators, celebrities, patient ambassadors, and HCP digital opinion leaders across tiersLead creation and scaling of platform-native content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social channelsEnsure seamless integration of influencer content across omnichannel ecosystem (paid media, CRM, websites, and live activations)Define influencer program governance, guidelines, onboarding, and content development processes in a regulated environmentPartner cross-functionally with Consumer Marketing, Omnichannel, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Agency teams to ensure alignment and complianceLead influencer summits, co-creation sessions, and community-building initiatives to drive authentic patient storytellingManage performance tracking and optimization including ROI, engagement, sentiment, reach, brand safety, and audience impactContinuously optimize influencer mix, platform strategy, creative approach, and budget allocation based on data and insightsRequirements7+ years of experience in consumer marketing, digital/social media, or PR3+ years of direct influencer marketing experience3+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experienceStrong expertise across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and creator ecosystemsExperience managing influencer programs, agencies, and analytics toolsStrong understanding of healthcare compliance, regulatory, privacy, and content governance requirementsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organizationStrong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skillsData-driven mindset with experience using insights to optimize campaigns and inform strategyHybrid role based near Boston with compensation of $180K-$220K base, 22% bonus, and equity.
