This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative and operational mindset who enjoys problem solving, building tenant relationships, and supporting the day-to-day management of commercial properties.In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a diverse commercial portfolio totaling approximately 600,000+ square feet across 250 tenants, while partnering closely with Ownership, Maintenance, Leasing, and Accounting teams to ensure efficient property operations and responsive tenant service.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial property management, property administration, real estate operations, or related business support experience looking to continue developing their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations of a commercial, industrial, and retail property portfolioServe as a primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring responsive communication and high-quality serviceCoordinate maintenance requests and work alongside the Maintenance Team to help ensure properties remain well maintainedReview vendor contracts, monitor performance, and negotiate agreements when appropriateParticipate in routine property inspections and help coordinate property improvement projects with the Project ManagerPrepare operational updates and reports for OwnershipPartner closely with the Leasing Team on:New leasesRenewalsEarly terminationsTenant onboarding and move-ins/move-outsAssist with tenant account coordination including:Rent collection follow-upReviewing aging reportsHelping resolve tenant account questions or disputesQualifications3+ years of experience in commercial property management, property administration, real estate operations, or related administrative/business support experienceStrong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office (Yardi experience is a plus)Willingness to periodically travel to properties throughout the suburbsIllinois Broker's License preferred, but not requiredWhy You'll Love Working With UsSmall, professional team where your voice is heardOpportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse commercial portfolioCollaborative and supportive working environment with long-term growth potentialExposure to multiple areas of commercial real estate operationsWe pride ourselves on maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented environment where employees are valued and have direct visibility with OwnershipBenefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid time offSmall team.
