The company is seeking a hands-on, strategic supply chain professional who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving challenging sourcing problems, and can build strong supplier partnerships while balancing tactical execution with long-term planning.Position SummaryThe Senior Global Supply Manager will lead the sourcing and supplier management strategy for structural steel and related components supporting large-scale infrastructure and deployment initiatives. This individual will oversee global supplier relationships, commodity strategy, procurement planning, and manufacturing alignment across key structural categories.The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing steel commodities, fabrication suppliers, and industrial supply chains within warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or automation-driven environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives for structural steel, fabricated components, and related commoditiesDevelop and execute long-term commodity strategies focused on cost optimization, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and capacity planningBuild and maintain relationships with steel mills, fabricators, service centers, and other strategic suppliersPartner closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to support manufacturability, supplier capabilities, and efficient product deploymentEvaluate supplier performance related to quality, delivery, pricing, and operational reliabilitySupport fabrication and manufacturing processes including roll forming, press brake operations, laser cutting, and stampingCollaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast material demand and manage commodity pricing fluctuationsNegotiate commercial agreements, supplier contracts, and long-term sourcing strategiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier network while supporting rapid operational growthQualifications5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or construction-related industriesStrong knowledge of steel commodities, supplier negotiations, pricing strategy, and supply risk managementExperience supporting structural steel procurement within industrial or construction environmentsFamiliarity with fabrication and manufacturing processes such as roll forming, stamping, laser cutting, and press brake operationsProven ability to manage high-value supplier relationships and complex sourcing initiativesStrong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, operations, finance, and project teamsAbility to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting prioritiesStrategic mindset combined with strong execution and problem-solving capabilitiesPreferred BackgroundExperience supporting warehouse infrastructure, automation systems, or industrial deployment projectsBackground managing global or multi-regional supplier networksExperience working within high-growth or scaling operational environmentsWhy This OpportunityHigh-impact role with strong visibility across the organizationOpportunity to influence supply chain strategy and infrastructure growthCollaborative, innovation-driven environmentExposure to advanced technologies, automation, and large-scale operational projectsStrong long-term career growth potential within a rapidly expanding organization
