From automobile development to smart factories, our Swiss-designed sensor solutions are driving the future of electrified drive technology, industrial automation, and emission reduction.Purpose of the Position• The Stockroom Clerk will receive stock from various suppliers and issue materials and parts which are required in the manufacturing and repair of PC-BUF products. The Material Coordinator must maintain all inventory transactions on the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy.Main TasksMark stock items using identification labels as required and stock items in an orderly and accessible manner.Determine stockroom layout, update, create and maintain labeling and stockroom address system.Runs and maintains parts cleaning machine and processOccasional product assembly or modifications.Generate paperwork to pick production work orders, verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigate discrepancies and adjust errors in the process.Issue and/or distribute materials and parts to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.Update computer system for all incoming and outgoing materials - yellow cards, pink cards, shortage cards, repair sheets and rework orders.Generate paperwork to close production work orders, package and stock finished products and update the computer system in the process.Troubleshoot stock issues and discrepancies.Assists the Logistics team members as required.Assist with cross training of other associates to these requirements to serve as back-ups when the primary Materials Coordinator is absent.Ability to cross train to the Shipping Position to serve as back-up when the primary Shipping Personal is absent.Performs other duties or projects as necessary.Physical requirementsAbility to lift to 20 pounds on occasional basis. Ability to sit at a workbench or desk 50% of workday. Ability to walk 20% of workday. Ability to stand 25% of workday.
