In support of their needs, we are looking for a Learning Content Designer (Instructional Design).Job Description:Job Title: Learning Content Designer (Instructional Design)Job Type: Contract Job Location: Peachtree Corners, GAWork Schedule: On-sitePay Rate: $55, Based on experienceDescription:The Learning Content Designer is responsible for developing engaging learning materials that meet defined learning objectives, use appropriate training modalities and methods, and follow established processes and adult learning principles.Essential Job Duties:Upon onboarding and completing required qualifications, the Learning Content Designer will:Analyze role-specific learner needs and tasks to craft measurable learning objectivesIdentify commonalities in learning needs across digital audiences and adapt content as appropriateCollaborate within the team and with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop new or update existing learning content tailored to a range of digital audiences, including highly technical learners (such as engineers), support helpdesk professionals, and digital sales, sales engineers and implementation teamsCollaborate with multimedia teams to create or modify media assets incorporated in learning materialsProactively manage the content development process including milestones, risks, review cycles, feedback implementation, and quality assuranceManage and monitor deliverables throughout the implementation, translation, and launch process, providing regular status updates to project teamsEvaluate learning content using qualitative and quantitative methods to drive design/development improvements and workflow efficienciesRequired Education and Training:Minimum college degree required (Instructional Design, Education, or Science/Engineering degree preferred)Software proficiency:• Articulate Rise• Articulate Storyline• CamtasiaMS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Smartsheet or equivalent project management toolRequired Skills and Experience:3 - 7 years relevant professional experienceAbility to be certified on applicable digital contentExperience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessmentsDelivery of training in a professional or classroom setting, as neededDemonstrated application of adult learning theory, analysis tools and process, evaluation tools and models, assessment best practices, and learning objective constructionExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience working and collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to create robust content solutionsAbility to self-manage and prioritize multiple development projects and deadlines, and adapt to project changesAbility to present clear solutions that drive alignment and cross-functional buy-inAbility to work with instructional design processes, tools, and templatesStrong organizational skillsExcellent attention to detailMust provide work samples and/or portfolioWorking Conditions:Preferred Skills and ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years of experience in biotech or medical device organization preferredCurriculum Development or Instructional Design / Technology master's degree preferredAdobe Creative Cloud proficiency preferredFamiliarity with SFDC, remote troubleshooting tools, and user management toolsFamiliarity with networking conceptsAbout Maxonic:Since 2002 Maxonic has been at the forefront of connecting candidate strengths to client challenges.
