Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Informatics Specialist to support the optimization, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of clinical information systems across our healthcare organization. This role serves as a liaison between clinical staff, IT teams, and operational leadership to improve workflows, support patient care initiatives, and maximize the effectiveness of Epic applications and related technologies.The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience, Epic expertise, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clinical and technical teams to analyze, design, implement, and optimize clinical workflows within Epic and related systemsSupport system upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and issue resolutionParticipate in clinical informatics projects and hospital implementation initiativesProvide workflow analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance patient care and user experienceDevelop and deliver end-user training and support for clinical applicationsServe as a subject matter expert for clinical documentation, order entry, and healthcare technology solutionsAssist with change management, adoption strategies, and ongoing optimization effortsMaintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient privacy requirementsSupport data integrity, reporting initiatives, and system governance activitiesRequired QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) licenseMinimum of 3 years of clinical healthcare experienceMinimum of 2 years of Epic experienceMinimum of 2 years of clinical informatics experienceStrong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operationsExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with interdisciplinary teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Epic hospital implementationsEpic certification(s) preferredExperience with workflow optimization, training, and system adoption initiativesBachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or related field preferred
