Senior Director of Sourcing & Production - Citizens of HumanityCitizens of Humanity is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Sourcing & Production to lead third-party manufacturing across the brand. This role will oversee the sourcing, development, and production lifecycle across denim, wovens, knits, sweaters, outerwear, and accessories - ensuring best-in-class quality, competitive costing, and timely delivery while supporting the premium positioning and continued growth of the brand.The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of premium apparel manufacturing, global sourcing strategy, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership within a fast-paced, design-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end sourcing and production processes from development through final delivery across all product categoriesManage production timelines, calendars, and delivery schedules to ensure seasonal milestones and shipping targets are metDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that support quality, margin goals, scalability, and long-term brand growthIdentify, onboard, and cultivate relationships with best-in-class global manufacturing partners across denim, ready-to-wear, and accessoriesLead vendor negotiations, costing strategies, capacity planning, and production allocationPartner closely with Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Operations, and Sales to ensure seamless execution from concept to shipmentMaintain and uphold the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and consistency across all categoriesCollaborate with internal QA and compliance teams to ensure adherence to company standards, sustainability initiatives, and ethical manufacturing practicesAnticipate and proactively resolve production challenges related to timelines, raw materials, capacity, or costingAnalyze production efficiencies and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimizationProvide leadership, mentorship, and direction to internal production teams and external vendor partnersSupport the continued growth and expansion of the brand across categoriesQualifications7+ years of experience in apparel sourcing, production, or supply chain management within premium or luxury fashionStrong expertise in global sourcing, vendor management, costing, and apparel production processes across multiple categoriesExperience working with premium fabrics, washes, trims, and elevated construction standardsDeep understanding of global manufacturing markets and supply chain operationsExceptional organizational, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and communication abilities with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing multiple prioritiesExperience working closely with design-driven and product-focused teams preferredFamiliarity with sustainability initiatives and responsible sourcing practices is a plusRole DetailsReports To: Chief Product OfficerLocation: Los Angeles HeadquartersEmployment Type: Full-Time
