Responsibilities? Lead end-to-end IT strategy and multi-year roadmap development aligned to agency business goals ? Conduct current-state assessments across infrastructure, applications, data, security, and processes ? Define target architecture and prioritize technology initiatives (cloud migration, cybersecurity, AI integration) ? Engage and align executive leadership, department heads, IT staff, and cross-agency stakeholders ? Develop AI readiness assessments and a practical AI integration roadmap ? Establish governance standards, architectural guardrails, and change management plans ? Deliver monthly status reports, quarterly knowledge transfer sessions, and a final executive briefingQualifications ? 7+ years of enterprise architecture experience applying EA principles to align business needs with IT strategy ? At least 5 of those years in a lead or senior EA capacity ? 5+ years providing senior EA services directly to California State agencies, offices, or departments ? Demonstrated experience with TAPs, project deliverables, stakeholder reporting, and knowledge transfer in a State government context ? Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered) ? Ability to work onsite in Sacramento when requiredDetails: ??
