Job Description

The System Integration Engineer will support the C2BMC program and will be responsible for integrating hardware and software into testbeds and operational systems.LocationColorado Springs, CO (Schriever SFB)Non-standard work hours may be required on occasion, depending on test or fielding schedulesPosition is based at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO but travel to fielded sites as well as National Team locations (e.g., Huntsville, HWY83) may be requiredThe Work You'll DoIntegrate Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) hardware and software into testbeds and operational systems; conduct full system checkouts of virtual machines, networks, and message flowsWork with various internal and external entities across the Missile Defense System (MDS) to test, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues; author test plans and procedures; write Problem Reports to document issues; provide feedback to DevelopersCreate and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files; perform data analysis of input/output and internal message trafficOperate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during test events and integration activitiesSupport meetings with National Team groups, other MDS elements, and Government customersWhat You'll BringBachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experienceActive Secret clearance required to startActive IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) required to start0-2 years prior experience as a system integrator or administratorDomain expertise in one or more of these areas: Networking, Linux, and/or WindowsSelf-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the Government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the programBasic troubleshooting skills and an ability to understand the hardware and software components running in a widely distributed, virtual environmentAbility to conduct complex troubleshooting by analyzing application and system logs, network configurations, and interface documentsPreferredTechnical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networksPrior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) programExperience with Agile Methodologies; creation and management of capabilities, features, and PRsSalary Range: $60,000 - $97,000Our ApproachAt SecureStrux, we are committed to core values that guide the way we work with one another and our clients.
