This role will serve as the company lead for IATF and ISO compliance, driving process implementation, continuous improvement, and audit readiness across the organization.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing quality systems, customer responsiveness, root cause analysis, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and certifications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO standardsServe as the primary lead for all internal, external, and customer auditsDevelop, implement, and maintain quality processes, procedures, and documentationDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfactionAct as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, ensuring timely and professional responsivenessLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, and PFMEAMonitor and analyze quality metrics, KPIs, scrap, and non-conformance trends to identify improvement opportunitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality standards are metEnsure compliance with all customer-specific requirements and regulatory standardsTrain and mentor employees on quality systems, procedures, and best practicesManage supplier quality performance and support supplier corrective action activities as neededMaintain audit readiness and ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred5+ years of Quality Management experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO quality standardsExperience leading internal and external auditsProven experience with process implementation and continuous improvement initiativesStrong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skillsProficiency with quality tools and methodologies including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSAAbility to analyze data and drive measurable improvementsExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAutomotive manufacturing experience preferredPreferred SkillsCertified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification preferredExperience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and sense of urgencyAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyI'm currently working on a Quality Manager opportunity with our client in Mt.
