Bookkeeper

A great UHY client is seeking a Bookkeeper to support accounting and office operations within a stable, family-owned organization. This role will oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions while also supporting broader office administration activities in a highly visible, hands-on environment.The Bookkeeper role is a fully onsite position based near Madison Heights, MI. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering strong visibility, a collaborative culture, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing business.Bookkeeper ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll activities utilizing ADPSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functionsAssist with reconciliations, financial reporting, and daily accounting operationsSupport office administration and operational activities as neededMaintain organized accounting and employee recordsAssist with process improvements and problem-solving initiativesPartner with ownership and office staff to support business operationsSupport ad hoc accounting and administrative projects as neededBookkeeper RequirementsPayroll experience required, including ADP exposureAccounting experience including A/R, A/P, and general accountingExperience working within a small company environment preferredStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and communication abilitiesSage accounting software experience is a plusAbility to work independently in a hands-on, collaborative environmentUHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
